Research Technician
Ι obtained my bachelors degree in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Chicago. There, my research focused on the susceptibility of hepatocellular carcinoma cells to different therapeutics, with the aim of developing personalized medicine. As a Post-baccalaureate at NIAID, I became familiar with structural biology methods including protein expression, purification, protein binding studies, and structure determination through X-ray crystallography. Outside of lab, I enjoy reading and writing poetry, hiking, cooking, and playing guitar.
