I obtained my BS-MS Dual Degree from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER Bhopal) where I worked to screen small molecule inhibitor of insulin aggregation under the supervision of Dr. Ishu Saraogi. I then pursued Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics at Texas A&M University under supervision of Dr. Pingwei Li to study how a member of ATP-binding cassette superfamily mediates the export of cyclic dinucleotide involved in innate immunity. In Sgourakis lab, I aim to use my experience in determining protein complex structures to solve the structures of T cell receptors in complex with peptide-bound MHC molecules. Outside the lab, I love exploring new places and enjoy food those places have to offer.
